Shaped by the mountains, the enthusiasm for sport and the pursuit of the extraordinary - Kitzbühel is synonymous with a passion that becomes an unmistakable attitude to life.
Golf has a long tradition in the Gamsstadt, so already 1955 the first golf course was opened. The most legendary sports city in the Alps is extremely selective and varied for golf enthusiasts. Golf is part of Kitzbühel, such as skiing, pleasure and cuisine. Seasonally, golf and skiing in spring and autumn form a perfect symbiosis.
With four golf courses within a five-minute drive, Kitzbühel welcomes golf enthusiasts and those who want to become more. Welcome. In front of an unmistakable backdrop, the golf paradise in the heart of the Alps offers a variety of game options. No matter if 18-hole at the golf course Kitzbühel-Schwarzsee-Reith and the premium golf course Eichenheim or the 9-hole facilities of the golf club Kitzbühel and golf and country club Rasmushof, the varied places of Kitzbühel are waiting for the perfect tee. There are also 30 golf courses within 100km radius. The region is thus one of the largest contiguous golf associations in Europe. With the Kitzbühel Golfcard (Golf Alpin Card) you can earn the greens of the selective Kitzbühel Golf Circuit in front of an impressive alpine panorama.
The golf sport in Kitzbühel got new impulses by the construction of the 18 hole place in Schwarzsee in the year 1988 and the place in Eichenheim 1999. The Golf Club Kitzbühel, on the other hand, under the aegis of the new board and Count Max Lamberg, made a present in time for the 50 anniversary with a completely redesigned new 9 hole. Since 2005 is played on this new place again.
The Kitzbühel golfers of Kaps Castle counted for decades as one of the best players in Austria and were the "eternal" rivals of the Viennese. Undisputed figurehead was Max Lamberg but also Johannes Lamberg, Rudi Sailer jr., Jutta Angst, Sandra Fischer, Fritz Porstendorfer, Matthias Wittmann, Heinrich Harrer and Clemens Prader won Austrian titles.
The history of Golf Club Kitzbühel is marked by many idealists and personalities from Kitzbühel. Again and again there were disagreements, even legal disputes between the Lamberg family and the Golf Club Kitzbühel. Without the vision of Carl Graf Lamberg in the fifties and the grandiose redesign of the course by Max Graf Lamberg, everything would not have been possible.
The course of the Golf Club Kitzbühel has been voted the most beautiful 9 hole course in Austria ten times by an independent expert jury.

The Golf Club of the Year 2016 in Austria, is an 18 hole course with a length of 6104 meters Par 72. The 1989 opened facility was 2003 venue of the Golf European Challenge Tour.
Especially the second 9 holes are very varied and a lot of differences in height a real challenge. Prerequisite for a good score are precision and course management. Do not miss, after the round, the wonderful terrace of the club restaurant
Prepare yourself for an extensive and above all rewarding course. A unique panorama and fairways that make golfers' hearts beat faster. 2003 was the golf club Kitzbühel-Schwarzsee-Reith for the first time venue of the "Golf European Challenge Tour".
Let's start with an almost 500 m long, selective opening hole. Then follows the most difficult hole in the course: Par 4, 414 m. Impressive: the par 3 number 16, the "mousetrap" that can be played over a small ravine. Once back at the clubhouse, the sun terrace awaits you with stunning views of the Astberg, the "Rauhen Kopf" and Wilden Kaiser.
Delicacies from the restaurant kitchen then entice you to endless lingering. If you hear a player talking about hole 20 here, do not be surprised. Insiders mean the nearby Schwarzsee, where you can refresh yourself and sunbathe wonderfully.
Without a doubt, the Kitzbühel-Schwarzsee-Reith golf course exerts its own fascination on all players. In the midst of the Kitzbühel Alps, surrounded by ridges, forests and meadows, lies its special attraction in the water hazards, the flat fairways of Holes 1 to 9, as well as the hilly profile of Holes 10 to 18.
The balanced terrain makes the Kitzbühel-Schwarzsee-Reith golf course the perfect playground for all types of golf. Whether you are a beginner or a single handicap player, golfing here becomes a fascination.

A five-minute walk from the center of Kitzbühel is the traditional Rasmushof Golf and Country Club. Play golf, where in winter the world's best downhill skiers swing over 130 km / h, at the Rasmushof golf course. The fairways and greens of the 9 hole course Rasmushof are perfect for golf beginners, but are also for athletic players and even for professionals always a sporting challenge. The short game is crucial here to get a good score.
With golf, we not only connect a nice game, but also social get-togethers. That's why in 2002 we launched our Golf and Country Club Rasmushof. Local Kitzbühel and guests of the Gamsstadt meet for golf tournaments, nice golf rounds and training sessions and exchange their experiences.
Take advantage of the opportunity of golf membership in the GLC Rasmushof to be there! We offer many different memberships for our players.
The stately Vierkanthof is located in the center of the golf park. It has been upgraded to a modern hotel-restaurant operation offering excellent dining, 31 comfort rooms and 4 fully equipped seminar rooms.
Swimming pond and a children's playground complete the all-round feel-good package, especially for families.
Many golfers have already discovered the Metzenhof as the ideal golf holiday and relaxation destination and always like to come back to "good friends".
