In the heart of Carinthia - embedded in one of the most beautiful landscapes in Austria - lies the Velden Wörthersee golf course. Just a 15-minute drive from the town center, it offers golf enthusiasts an oasis of rest and relaxation in the middle of the Carinthian lake area. In addition to a wonderful view of the Karawanken, you will also find a natural and inviting atmosphere.
The Velden Wörthersee golf course has been one of the most interesting and well-maintained courses in Austria for many years due to its high quality standards. The 18-hole golf course was built to international standards and has already served as a venue for many national championships.

33 electric cars and several e-trolleys are available to members and guests, meaning there are no limits to individual enjoyment of the game despite the challenging terrain. The Velden Golf Academy, beautifully situated above Lake Wörthersee, with Head Pro Martin Dewhurst and European Senior Tour player Gordon Manson, is the ideal place both for beginners who want to learn golf right from the start and for ambitious golfers to continue to work on improving their game. The first-class practice facilities consist of a 350 m long driving range, a spacious pitching and chipping area with an expansive bunker and an extensive, challenging undulating putting green. 

The 18-hole course is one of the most challenging golf courses in Austria and is the venue for international and Austrian golf championships. At the end of the round you can finish off your game on the exquisite 19th hole.
